We had last Friday (20th October) away from Hiab or any other courses and instead we held our first Macmillan coffee morning at our HQ in Liverpool. We didn’t let the poor weather dampen our spirits, we still raised over £400! Storm Babet did not get in our way!
Everyone has been affected by cancer at some time in our lives and Macmillan nurses are always there to help with advice and support so it was good to give a little back.
Also, any leftover cake was given to the staff at our local hospice and they were so happy!
Thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who donated. We’ll see you again next year!
